According to God’s vision, on 11th May 2001, Jollee Abraham formed the Musi-care Cultural & Charitable Trust with a core group of like-minded people. The Trust aimed to help the underprivileged and physically challenged, irrespective of caste, creed, or religion. Being a Singer, he also wanted to cater to Christian Music Lovers and decided to do something unique. The idea of conducting a 12-hour music fest was his long desire, so he decided to do that through this Trust. So, using Music as a platform, many charitable works were done by this Trust.

Every year, world-renowned South Indian playback singers, gospel singers, Bishops, and evangelists from all denominations have participated in this event. This Music Festival is unique as this is the only program in the world to have conducted a 12 hour concert continually year after year.

For Nineteen years this concert was conducted from 6 P.M evening to 6 A.M morning all through the night. At 12 0' Clock midnight, we conduct a special candlelight worship and prayer by men of God for the peace of our nation. After Covid’19, concert timing has been changed to day time, 10 A.M to 10 P.M.

Every year, we support the downtrodden to start a career by donating push carts, fish carts, iron box with cart, wet grinders, cycles, two wheeler, sewing machines, load bearing tricycles, etc. support the physically challenged and visually impaired by donating wheelchairs, tricycle, hearing aid, spectacles, clutches, musical instruments and audio systems etc, support destitute homes by donating specially made cots for the sick, construction material for expansion of orphanage building, digging bore wells, fridge for homes, rice, dhal, oil, bed sheets etc., medical help, school fees for deserving students, etc. Blood donation and Eye donation are also conducted. K.S.Chithra, C.Deva, Malaysia Vasudevan, Unni Menon, Mano, B.Sasi Reka, Minmini, Krishna Raj, Grace Karunas, Sunitha Sarathy, Nikhil Mathew, Srinisha, Music Directors Shyam, D.Imman and James Vasanthan.. Director Prabhu Solomon, Dindigul. I.Leoni, Actress Nagma, Solo Instrumentalists like Kalyana Sundaram, Stephen Devassy, Naveen, Kamalakar, Sitar Robert, Natraj Shastri, Jason have all participated.. Gospel Singers Sri Vedhanayagam Sasthiriyar, Sis.Helen Sathya, Sis. Padmini Pandian, Sis. Nalini Selvaraj, Sis. Hema John, Bro. Vyasar Lawrence, Cicily, Reshma etc., have all been kind enough to come and participate in this concert, thus honoring our small effort towards the upliftment of the less fortunate in our society.

The Archbishop, Bishops from all denominations, Religious leaders from various churches, renowned evangelists etc. have all graced this event.

Musi-Care was able to do Relief Projects at Chennai during Tsunami, Nepal during the earthquake, Chennai during Floods and at Chennai during Covid. Trucks loaded with the basic necessities and tents were sent to Nepal.

Whatever obstacles may come, this good work started by the Lord will surely continue because of HIS amazing grace.
